Prof. Dong-Hwa Seo is recruiting two postdoctoral fellows through the UNIST InnoCORE program in AI-Driven Hydrogen Technology. The fellows will be affiliated with and conduct their research at KAIST in Daejeon.
The fellows will help expand and integrate our AI agents and self-driving laboratories (SDLs) to accelerate battery materials discovery. Specific projects will build on our ongoing research while reflecting each fellow’s expertise and interests.
Our next goal is to add new experimental modules and connect these platforms through AI agents to build a Self-driving Center for battery materials development, covering materials design, synthesis, characterization and cell-level testing.
Our group has developed several AI agents and established three SDLs for battery materials research.

We welcome applicants with backgrounds in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, AI/ML, robotics or related fields. Project directions will be developed with each fellow, taking their expertise and research interests into account.
Please send your CV and research plan to Prof. Dong-Hwa Seo at dseo@kaist.ac.kr. In your research plan, describe your interests and how your experience could contribute to AI agents, SDLs or battery materials discovery.
The official program page provides eligibility criteria, required forms and the application process. Please review these requirements when preparing your application.
Contact the PI with your research interests and a short description of the work you would like to discuss.
